CRIPPLE BASTARDS - "MISANTROPO A SENSO UNICO"

recorded between 1999 and 2000, released on Friday the 13th, October 2000. This stands as the most cynical and annihilating Cripple Bastards release to date, each song on it (above all the lyrical structure) has been written and revisited through the whole CB's history. And each song is a story of real life, existential decay captured and portraited through the peculiar CB mentality. The musical approach is an exasperated amalgamation of late '80s Grind/Thrashcore, ultrafast Hardcore plus various influences from other genres. This is hyperfast, raw and obsessive. Alberto the Crippler (sadly at its last effort before quitting) reaches the top in his distortion mania - viciously amalgamated with the equally mega-distorted STW's bass, Walter Dr. Tomas (now playing in Shandon) gives a unique drum effort with the constant feel of wanting to accelerate himself over his possibilities. This is with no trace of a doubt the most negative thing that ever came out in the history of Italy's music, both lyrically and musically. The ending track ("94 x flashback di massacro") is the remake of a 94 track Demo CB did many years before and that came out as 4 Way splt with Filthy Charity, Harsh Feelings and Grimcorpses.
