SQUELCHING FLESH - "PSYCHIC INCARCERATION"

Squelching Flesh is a new project emerging from New Jersey. Set against the grimy backdrop of 1985 Manhattan, their album "Psychic Incarceration" is not just another brutal release; it's a headbanging journey that brings innovation while staying true to the roots of the genre. The album artwork, an original piece by Vladimir Chebakov, intensifies the horror theme with its evocative style.

The creative minds behind Squelching Flesh are Tom Anderer (Reeking Aura, Grey Skies Fallen) and Terrell Grannum (Reeking Aura, Thætas), who skillfully blend the bone-crushing old-school slam with the gritty punch of goregrind. Their unique use of a six-string bass adds a deeper texture, and guest vocals from Will Smith (Afterbirth, Reeking Aura) and Paulo Paguntalan (Miasmatic Necrosis, Encenathrakh) elevate the intensity. Mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice), "Psychic Incarceration" achieves new heights of crude excellence, offering an exquisite mix of barbarity and precision.

Each track on the album narrates a tale of psychological torment and primal fear, drawing listeners into a dark world where demons lurk in the shadows of city streets. The clever lyrics and intricate compositions set this album apart, making it a must-listen for fans who appreciate bands like Blasted Pancreas, Afterbirth, and Demilich.
